Objectives of our school


Kiungururia Mixed Secondary School has the following mandates:-
a)    To provide quality teaching and learning. This is enhanced by provision of teachers, adequate text books, provision of laboratory equipment and proper examination procedure. We give two continuous assessment tests and an end term exam.
b)    To provide quality service/commitment to co-functions. This includes teaching and learning, games and co-curriculum activities such as debates, lectures, Christian union and tours to other schools.
c)    To develop students and staff friendly quality programmes. This is enhanced by having frequent classteachers/students meetings done every Wednesday after lunch and proper communication through open forum kamukunjis), tet-a-tet and group discussions.
d)    Care for parents and visitors. We ensure that we give care and proper handling of the visitor by the secretary, teachers and students.
e)    To produce socially responsible students. Its our aim that our students be acceptable in the community when learning and after school.
f)    To promote school/community partnership. This is to ensure that the school is owned by the community.
g)    To conserve the environment – This is by planting trees within the school compound and in the village. The aim is to enhance cohesiveness between the school and the community.
h)    To develop and enhance ICT skills – This is to cope up with technology required for development in schools.
